2016 NFL Best Record Futures

Who do you think will have the best record in the NFL this season? As they say, if you don't put your money where your mouth is, you're not saying that much. This can be a really fun bet for serious NFL bettors and recreational players alike. It's a bet that can give you a lot of bang for your buck, as you will have action on all of a team's games, or at least until it becomes clear they aren't going to have the best record. As an aside, we like to make more than one pick, in order to protect ourselves if one or more of the other teams stinks it up and with the odds we see, we can afford to do that.
A lot of fans and bettors pride themselves on being able to sense when a team is poised to do big things. Some people can see it before everyone else does. After all, once it becomes clear to see, the value gets sucked out of it. This is one of those bets that let you capitalize on being able to see the writing on the wall before everyone else does. The more off-the-grid your pick is, the higher the odds. In other words, you don't have to be a fortune teller to foresee the Packers, Seahawks, or Panthers having a big season in 2016.
This bet has paid off enough off-the-radar teams in the recent past to justify picking a higher-odds team. Not too many people pegged the Carolina Panthers to have a 15-1 regular season in 2015. It's a bet that really pays off for those who are willing to stand by their convictions, as those who bet on Carolina last season would attest. It's also worth noting that this is a category that is easy to tie. In the event that more than one team has the best record, they would share the profit, as the bet would be decided by dead-heat rules. For example, if you have Carolina at +800 and you bet $100 and they tie for the best record with one other team, your winnings would get sliced in half and you'd win $400.
Here are our best picks for team to have the best record in the NFL in 2016. Following our selections are all the odds for the different NFL teams to have the best won-loss mark in 2016 in the NFL this season.
Our Picks for NFL with the Best Record in 2016
Carolina Panthers (+800): They'd almost be a less-desirable choice if they actually won the Bowl last season. The Panthers should still be hungry in 2016. They took a mean "D" and added the league's highest-scoring offense to the mix to almost have a perfect season in 2015. They get Kelvin Benjamin back as a top aerial target and one shouldn't be surprised if they start rattling off wins again this season at a hectic pace.
New England Patriots (+800): Not having Brady for four games is bad, but it might actually make this a higher-value pick. With a team like the Pats, they can fortify themselves and emerge from that 4-game stretch intact. And when Brady returns, one would assume he does so with a purpose. Roster-wise, they are as strong as they've been in years and they can't be ruled out in 2016.
Arizona Cardinals (+1200): They were 13-3 last season, so only Carolina spoiled them having the best record in the league. In Carson Palmer's last 31 starts, his won-loss record is an astounding 26-5. There isn't much to suggest they'll fall off this season. They've cultivated a knack of stringing together wins in bunches and look to do more of that in 2016. They should be right in the mix.
Kansas City Chiefs (+1200): It's easy to forget that the Chiefs ended the last regular season on a run of ten straight wins, overcoming a 1-5 start to get to the postseason. A continuation of that form would have KC right in the mix. In recent seasons, we've seen the Chiefs go on prolonged rolls. If they can just stay more consistent, their win total could swell. And having a healthy Jamaal Charles doesn't hurt.
Cincinnati Bengals (+1400): They started last season 8-0. You have to think the Bengals will get their act together at some point for a season-long run of success. Before going down with an injury, Andy Dalton looked like he had upgraded his game. They've always been known for their defensive acumen, but with a vital run-game and Dalton making the most of his aerial crew, the Bengals could conceivably rack up a bunch of wins this season.
Indianapolis Colts (+2500): Well, you know we had to take one long-shot. A few seasons ago, the Colts looked to be a rising commodity with two straight 11-win seasons. Things have cooled down, but a healthy Andrew Luck and having a few things fall their way could have the Colts looking like a completely different team this season.
