Week 6 NFL Football Lines
Week 6 is upon us in the NFL. There is only one unbeaten team and one winless team in the entire league. The Minnesota Vikings are 5-0 and the only unbeaten team in the whole league, a bit unusual heading into week 6. And the only team that hasn't won is the Cleveland Browns, who are 0-5. Minnesota is on a bye week, joined by Tampa as the only teams off this week, with a 15-game schedule on tap in week 6. While there is only one unbeaten team, there are nine one-loss teams with the Seahawks, Falcons, Broncos, Eagles, Packers, Cowboys, Raiders, Steelers, and Patriots.
Last week, Tom Brady returned into the fold for the Pats, throwing for over 400 yards in one of the big storylines of the week. His return home to Foxborough is another top storyline of the week in week six, as the Patriots host the Bengals. Cincinnati is one of those teams looking to get on a roll, as a handful of supposed contenders are struggling. The perennial contender Bengals are 2-3. A 10-win team from last season, the Jets are 1-4 so far this season. The Cardinals are 2-3, while the Super Bowl representative from the NFC last season, the Carolina Panthers, are 1-4.
This is a critical week for a lot of teams, a sort of fork in the road moment for a handful of squads. Some teams can further confirm their status and cement themselves more as contenders, while some teams need a win to keep their seasons from getting more sideways than they already are. There are a lot of teams feeling a high sense of urgency and we'll see how it resonates on the field this week. And there are some big spreads on the board this week, with a half-dozen games with spreads of 6 or more points. Let's look at the point spreads and totals for week 6, as we start to form our wagers for the weekend.
