Georges St. Pierre Biography - There are a handful of guys out there snickering (and hiding) because they used to pick on this guy. That's right... GSP got his motivation to get into karate because he was being bullied by "tough" kids. There's a better than good chance there's a few guys out there who will be telling their grandkids this story while looking over their shoulder!
Chuck Liddell Biography - Surely one of the most popular MMA fighters of all-time. His right hand had bone shattering strength. People FLOCKED to watch this guy's fights on Pay-Per-View. Jeff Monson, Kevin Randleman, Vitor Belfort, Renato Sobral, Alistair Overeem, Tito Ortiz, Randy Couture, and Wanderlei Silva are just a few of the big names that "The Iceman" destroyed in the ring. All I can say is that if you never got to watch this guy fight... I'm sorry!
Anderson Silva Biography - What's sad, is that most will remember him for the horrible broken leg he suffered in the middle of a fight vs. Chris Weidman. The truth is, he is one of the most dominant fighters of his era. He absolutely destroyed opponents in the welterweight and middleweight classes.
Randy Couture Biography - "The Natural" is a legend and one of the pioneers of the sport. A wrestler at Oklahoma State, Randy used his skills to dominate opponents using a dominating ground and pound approach, but was also able to knock a guy out. What's really amazing, is that he won 4 championship bouts after turning 40.
Chael Sonnen Biography - A decorated All American Greco Wrestler, Chael broke into the MMA at the tender age of 19 and had a long career which made him one of the more recognizable figures in the UFC. He had his share of losses, but was well respected as he was often paired with top level competition. Unfortunately, his career ended after testing positive for banned substances.
Frank Mir Biography - One of the signature heavyweights in the history of the UFC. He was a true submission artist. Mir had a career including many triumphs and setbacks, but none of that mattered as his legacy had already been secured. Who can forget the pain he administered to what seemed like an unbeatable Brock Lesnar, forcing a tapout. Pure awesomeness!
Rich Franklin Biography - The former UFC Middleweight Champion was the consummate professional. "Ace" was one of the more exciting and versatile performers in the sport when it was in it's infancy stages. Franklin's first fight was won in 24 seconds and he went on to have a stellar start to his career in which he didn't suffer his first loss for almost 5 years. His class and demeanor in the octagon will be missed!
