The fans of the game also live by these numbers in judgment of players. Whether it be for a season or over the course of an entire career, the fans know the scoop with the numbers. It’s what makes the baseball world go around.

In order to know the stats, you need to know the mind-numbing amount of acronyms involved. Here is a list of them that will help you better understand the wild and wacky world of baseball. We also included abbreviations of all MLB teams as well.
