NFL Free Agent Signings, Traded Players and Draft Picks

Welcome to our team-by-team list of offseason player movement including free agent signings and draft picks. Use this list to beef up your NFL knowledge and stomp the comp in fantasy football this season! Enjoy!

AFC East

Buffalo Bills: In free agency, the Bills got QB Kevin Kolb, FB Frank Summers, WR DeMarco Sampson, TE Mickey Shuler, P Brian Shahovich, G Doug Legursky, defensive linemen Jamie Blatnick, Alan Branch, and Kourtnei Brown. In addition, the Bills got linebackers Marcus Dowtin and Manny Lawson, as well as cornerback Dominique Ellis.

Buffalo’s Draft: The Bills bolstered the QB position by picking EJ Manuel with the 15th pick. 2nd-rounder WR Robert Woods and 3rd rounder WR Marquise Gray should help deepen the receiving corps.

Miami Dolphins: Among their biggest free agent signings in the offseason, Miami signed WR Mike Wallace, the standout receiver from the Steelers. In addition, the Dolphins signed a slew of receivers in Brandon Gibson, Joseph Hastings, Marvin McNutt, and tight ends Dustin Keller and Evan Rodriguez. Also signed is QB Aaron Corp, OT Tyson Clabo, G Lance Louis, DL Vaughn Martin, DL Dannell Ellerbe, LB Philip Wheeler and CB Brent Grimes.

Miami’s Draft: With the third pick, the Dolphins got Oregon defensive end Dion Jordan, a potential future star on the D-line. In round 2, Miami got a good corner in Jamar Taylor and added a good offensive lineman in the 3rd round with Dallas Thomas.

New England Patriots: The Patriots traded for RB LeGarrette Blount. Among the bigger name signees, the Patriots got QB Tim Tebow. Also in the mix are running backs Leon Washington and George Winn and receivers Danny Amendola, Lavelle Hawkins, Michael Jenkins, and Donald Jones. Also joining the Pats are tackles Will Svitek and Kevin Haslam, as well as defensive linemen Armond Armstead, Marcus Benard, Tommy Kelly, and Jason Vega, linebacker AJ Edds, and safety Adrian Wilson.

New England’s Draft: In the second round, the Patriots secured the rights to LB Jamie Collins and WR Aaron Dobson. In the third round, they got help in the secondary with CB Logan Ryan and S Duron Harmon.

New York Jets: Among the players joining the Jets are QB Matt Simms, running backs Mike Goodson and Chris Ivory and pass catchers Vidal Hazelton, Ben Obamanu, and Kellen Winslow. Also joining the Jets are P Ryan Quigley, G Willie Colon, G Stephen Peterman, DL Hugo Garay, LB Antwan Barnes, LB Danny Lansanah, CB Cliff Harris, S Bret Lockett, and S Dawan Landry.

New York’s Draft: With two picks in the first 13 selections, the Jets got two potential stars in corner Dee Milliner and DT Sheldon Richardson. OB Geno Smith offers upside as a 2nd round pick, with G Brian Winters being selected in the 3rd round.

AFC North

Baltimore Ravens: Baltimore traded for AQ Shipley. New signees include QB Caleb Hanie, receivers Marlon Brown and Marcus Rivers, TE Alex Silvestro, C Morgan Cox, G Reggie Stephens, DL Chris Canty, and a huge coup in LB Elvis Dumervil. Also now on board in Baltimore are DL Marcus Spears, and linebackers Spencer Adkins and Daryl Smith, and safety Michael Huff.

Baltimore’s Draft: The Ravens got Matt Elam, a safety out of Florida, with the final pick in the first round. In addition, the Ravens secured the services of 2nd-rounder, LB Arthur Brown out of Kansas State.

Cincinnati Bengals: the Bengals signed quarterbacks Josh Johnson and John Skelton, RB E. Alex Smith, C Mike Pollak, LB James Harrison, and linebacker Aaron Maybin.

Cincinnati’s Draft: With the 21st pick, the Bengals got big TE Tyler Eifert. In the second round, they got Giovani Bernard, a running back out of South Carolina and huge DE Margus Hunt from SMU.

Cleveland Browns: The Browns signed quarterbacks Jason Campbell and Brian Hoyer, running back Miguel Maysonet, receivers Davone Bess, Tori Gurley, and David Nelson, tight ends Gary Barnidge and Kellen Davis, K Shayne Graham, P TJ Conley, tackles Dominic Alford and Rashad Butler, DL Desmond Bryant, LB Quentin Groves, and CB Christopher Owens.

Cleveland’s Draft: With the 3rd pick, the Browns selected potential game-changing LB Barkevious Mingo, out of LSU. In the 3rd round, the Browns locked up San Diego State corner Leon McFadden.

Pittsburgh Steelers: Pittsburgh got quarterbacks Bruce Gradkowski and John Parker Wilson, running back LaRod Stephens-Howling, TE Matt Spaeth, P Brian Moorman, T Guy Whimper, LB Kion Wilson, and cornerbacks William Gay, Nigel Malone, and Ross Ventrone.

Pittsburgh’s Draft: In the 1st round, the Stelers selected LB Jarvis Jones out of Georgia with the 17th pick. In the 2nd round, they chose Le’Veon Bell, a bruising running back out of Michigan. Their third round pick was Oregon State WR Markus Wheaton.

AFC South

Houston Texans: Houston signed quarterbacks Case Keenum, Collin Klein, and Stephen McGee. Adding more big-time names from the college ranks who went undrafted, Houston signed running backs Ray Graham and Cierre Wood. They also signed former Oregon standout WR Jeff Maehl. Also coming into the fold is RB Deji Karim, TE Jake Byrne, superstar punter Shane Lechler, C Tyler Horn, LB Mike Mohamed, and 9-time All-Pro S Ed Reed.

Houston’s Draft: Joining the Texans from the college ranks are 1st-rounder WR De Andre Hopkins, 2nd-rounder S DJ Swearinger, and two 3rd rounders in T Brennan Williams and DE Sean Montgomery.

Indianapolis Colts: The Colts signed QB Matt Hasslebeck, running backs Ahmad Bradshaw and Stanley Havili, WR Darrius Heyward-Bey, offensive linemen Gosder Cherilus and Donald Thomas, defensive linemen Aubrayo Franklin, Ricky Jean-Francois, and Lawrence Sidbury, linebacker Erik Walden, and defensive backs Greg Toler and LaRon Landry.

Indianapolis’ Draft: With the 24th pick, the Colts got DE Bjoern Werner out of Florida State. In the 3rd round, they drafted G Hugh Thornton out of Illinois.

Jacksonville Jaguars: The Jaguars signed quarterback Mike Kafka, RB Justin Forsett, receivers Jeremy Ebert and Mohamed Massaquoi, C Brad Meester, defensive linemen TJ Barnes, Brandon Deaderick, Kyle Love, Sen’Derrick Marks, and Roy Miller, LB Geno Hayes, and defensive backs Lionel Smith, Marcus Trufant, and Alan Ball.

Jacksonville’s Draft: With the number-two pick, the Jaguars drafted likely future Pro Bowl tackle Luke Joeckel. With their second and third round picks, they beefed up their secondary with S John Cyprien and CB Dwayne Gratz.

Tennessee Titans: The Titans signed QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, running backs Alvester Alexander, Shonn Greene, and Jalen Parmele. Also signed were WR Kevin Walter, TE Delanie Walker, offensive linemen Barry Richardson, Chris Spencer, and Robert Turner, defensive linemen Sammie Hill and Ropati Pitoitua, LB Greg Jones, and S Bernard Pollard.

Tennessee’s Draft: With the 10th pick, the Titans got a probable keeper in G Chance Warmack out of Alabama. Their second-round selection was big WR Justin Hunter from Tennessee.

AFC West

Denver Broncos: The Broncos signed longtime Patriots stalwart Wes Welker, LB Shaun Phillips, and CB Quentin Jammer, among their bigger-name signees. Also in the fold is WR Gerell Robinson, guards Justin Boren and Louis Vasquez, DL Terrance Knighton, LB Stewart Bradley, and corner Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.

Denver’s Draft: With the 28th pick of the first round, the Broncos got a good DT in Sylvester Williams out of North Carolina. Their second round pick was Wisconsin stalwart RB Montee Ball.

Kansas City Chiefs: KC traded for QB Alex Smith and RB Anthony Sherman. The Chiefs signed QB Chase Daniel, receivers Donnie Avery and Mardy Gilyard, tight ends Kevin Brock and Anthony Fasano, offensive linemen Matt Reynolds, Geoff Schwartz, and Ryan Durand, defensive linemen Mike DeVito, Marcus Dixon, and Austen Lane, linebackers Zac Diles, Akeem Jordan, Chad Kilgore, Orie Lemon, and Frank Zombo, corners Vincent Agnew, Buddy Jackson, Dunta Robinson, and Sean Smith, and to cap off a busy offseason--safeties Husain Abdullah and Quintin Demps.

Kansas City’s Draft: The top of their draft served to help their offense. With the top pick, they chose Eric Fisher, a potentially-great left tackle. With a pair of third-round picks, the Chiefs picked TE Travis Kelce and RB Knile Davis.

Oakland Raiders: Oakland traded for QB Matt Flynn. The Raiders signed running backs Rashad Jennings and Jon Hoese, receiver and return-specialist Josh Cribbs, and receivers Andre Holmes, Travionte Session, and Isaiah Williams, TE Jeron Mastrud, P Chris Kluwe, T Khalif Barnes, defensive linemen Jason Hunter, Johnny Jones, Pat Sims, and Vance Walker, linebackers Kevin Burnett, Kaluka Maiava, and Nick Roach, and a slew of defensive backs in Mike Jenkins, Tracy Porter, Charles Woodson, Reggie Smith, and Usama Young.

Oakland’s Draft: With the 12th pick, the Raiders selected corner DJ Hayden, a prospect out of Houston. Their second-round selection was T Menelik Watson out of Florida State. In the third round, the Raiders chose LB Sio Moore out of Connecticut.

San Diego Chargers: The Chargers signed former Patriots Danny Woodhead, in addition to backs Foswhitt Whitaker and Chris Grnkowski. Also now in the San Diego mix are receivers Deon Butler and Dan DePalma, TE John Phillips, offensive linemen King Dunlap, Max Starks, Richard Ohmberger, and Chad Rhinehart, DL Jarius Wynn, linebackers Dwight Freeney, Thomas Keiser and DJ Smith, and defensive backs Cornelius Brown, Derek Cox, and Johnny Patrick.

San Diego’s Draft: San Diego gets some well-needed help up front with the selection of Alabama’s DJ Fluker, a top prospect at the tackle position. In the second round, San Diego booked the services of LB Manti Te’o. In the 3rd round, they got WR Keenan Allen from Cal.

Dallas Cowboys: The Cowboys signed QB Nick Stephens, WR Jared Green, TE Dante Rosario, offensive linemen Edwan Coughman, JB Shugarts, and Ray Dominguez, defensive linemen Nick Hayden, Jerome Long, Jeris Pendleton, linebackers Justin Durant and Cameron Sheffield, and defensive backs Will Allen and Brandon Underwood.

Dallas’ Draft: The Cowboys got C Travis frederick out of Wisconsin with the 31st pick in the first round. In the second round, they got an interesting TE prospect in Gavin Escobar out of San Diego State.

New York Giants: The Giants signed QB Curtis Painter, receivers Kris Adams, Keith Carlos, Kevin Hardy, and Louis Murphy, tight ends Jamie Childers and Brandon Myers, kickers Josh Brown and David Buehler, offensive linemen Chris Degeare, Michael Jasper, and Bryant Browning, defensive linemen Cullen Jenkins, Mike Patterson, and Frank Okam, linebackers Kyle Bosworth and Dan Connor, and defensive backs Trumaine McBride, Aaron Ross, David Caldwell and Ryan Mundy.

New York’s Draft: With the 19th pick in the first round, the Giants got T Justin Pugh out of Syracuse. In the 2nd and 3rd rounds, the giants beefed up their line with DT Johnathan Hankins of Ohio State and Damontre Moore of Texas A&M.

Philadelphia Eagles: The Eagles signed quarterbacks Dennis Dixon and GJ Kinne, running backs Felix Jones and James Casey, WR Arrelious Benn, P Donnie Jones, G Allen Barbre, DL Isaac Sopoaga, linebackers Connor Baldwin and Jason Phillips, and defensive backs Bradley Fletcher, Cary Williams, Patrich Chung, and Kenny Phillips.

Philadelphia’s Draft: The Eagles got a good one with the 4th pick in T Lane Johnson from Alabama. In the 2nd round, the Eagles selected TE Zach Ertz from Stanford. In the 3rd round, Philly got DT Bennie Logan from LSU. They also selected QB Matt Barkley in the 4th round.

Washington Redskins: The Skins signed QB Pat White, receivers Devery Henderson and Donte’ Stallworth, K John Potter, T Jeremy Trueblood, C Kevin Matthews, defensive linemen Chigko Anunoby, Ron Brace, Phillip Merling, and Darryl Tapp, LB Ricky Elmore, and CB EJ Biggers.

Washington’s Draft: In the 2nd round, the Redskins got CB David Amerson of NC State. In the third round, the Skins selected Jordan Reed, a tight end out of Florida.

NFC North

Chicago Bears: The Bears signed RB Tony Flammetta, receivers Devin Aromashodu and Jerrell Jackson, tight ends Martellus Bennett, Steve Maneri, and Fendi Onobun, offensive linemen Eben Britton, Jermon Bushrod, Matt Slauson, and Taylor Boggs, defensive linemen Turk McBride, Sedrick Ellis, and Kyle Moore, linebackers James Anderson and DJ Williams, and safeties Chyl Charles and Tom Zbikowski.

Chicago’s Draft: The Bears got help on the O-line with the selection of Kyle Long, a guard from Oregon. In the 2nd round, the Bears got Jon Bostic, a linebacker from Florida.

Detroit Lions: The Lions signed QB Thaddeus Lewis, running backs Reggie Bush and Montell Owens, receivers Terrence Austin, Michael Spurlock, Devin Thomas and Matt Willis, TE Matt Veldman, K David Akers, offensive linemen Derek Hardman, Leroy Harris, and Jake Scott, defensive linemen Israel Idonije, Jason Jones, and CJ Mosley, LB Cory Greenwood, and defensive backs Domonique Johnson, De’Quan Menzie, Glover Quin, and Chris Hope.

Detroit’s Draft:

With the 5th pick, the Lions selected DE Ziggy Ansah of BYU. In the second round, they chose Darius Slay, a corner from Mississippi State and in the third round, the Lions acquired the services of Larry Warford, a guard from Kentucky.

Green Bay Packers: The Packers signed TE Matthew Mulligan, K Giorgio Tavecchio, and OL Kevin Hughes.

Green Bay’s Draft: With the 26th pick, Green Bay got DE Datone Jones of UCLA and in the 2nd round, the Packers selected RB Eddie Lacy from Alabama.

Minnesota Vikings: The vikings signed QB Matt Cassel, receiver Greg Jennings, T Brandon Keith, G Seth Olsen, defensive lineman Lawrence Jackson, linebacker Desmond Bishop, and corners Jacob Lacey and Greg McCoy.

Minnesota’s Draft: With three first-round picks, the Vikings selected DT Sharrif Floyd at 23, CB Xavier Rhodes of Florida State, and WR Cordarrelle Patterson, a receiver from Tennessee.

NFC South

Atlanta Falcons: The Falcons signed longtime Rams standout RB Steven Jackson, RB Patrick DiMarco, TE Colin Cloherty, DE Osi Umenyiora, and LB Brian Banks.

Atlanta’s Draft: With the 22nd pick, the Falcons drafted CB Desmond Trufant out of Washington. In the 2nd round, Atlanta procured the services of CB Robert Alford.

Carolina Panthers: The Panthers signed receivers Ted Ginn, Jr., Domenick Hixon, and Dale Moss, DL Colin Cole, linebackers Chase Blackburn, Ben Jacobs and Ryan Rau, corners Drayton Florence, DJ Moore, and Captain Munnerlyn, and S Michael Mitchell.

Carolina’s Draft: With the number-14 pick, the Panthers chose Utah defensive tackle Star Lotulelei, and in the second round drafted another DT in Purdue’s Kawann Short.

New Orleans Saints: The Saints drafted quarterbacks Luke McCown and Seneca Wallace, TE Ben Watson, offensive linemen Jason Smith, Isaako Aaitui, and Kenyon Coleman, linebackers Baraka Atkins, Victor Butler, and Austin Johnson, and defensive backs Chris Carr, Keenan Lewis, Dion turner, and Jim Leonhard.

New Orleans’ Draft: The Saints bolstered their secondary with the 15th pick Kenny Vaccaro, a safety out of Texas. In the third round, the Saints drafted T Terron Armstead and DT John Jenkins.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Tampa traded for RB Jeff Demps and CB Darrelle Revis. The Bucs signed RB Brian Leonard, receivers Derek Hagan, Carlton Mitchell, Kevin Ogletree, and Eric Page, tight ends Tom Crabtree and Zach Miller, K Derek Dimke, P Chas Henry, T Gabe Carimi, defensive linemen Derek Landri and Andre Neblett, LB Jonathan Casillas, CB Michael Adams, and S Dashon Goldson.

Tampa Bay’s Draft: In the second round, the Bucs selected corner Johnathan Banks out of Mississippi State. Their 3rd round selection was former NC State star QB Mike Glennon.

NFC West

Arizona Cardinals: The Cardinals traded for Javier Arenas. The Cardinals selected quarterbacks Carson Palmer and Drew Stanton, RB Rashard Mendenhall, WR Jarett Dillard, TE Alex Gottlieb, P Will Batson, guards Paul Fanaika and Chilo Rachal, defensive linemen Frostee Rucker and Matt Shaughnessy, linebackers Lorenzo Alexander, Jasper Brinkley, and returning Karlos Dansby, corners Antoine Cason, Bryan McCann, and Jerraud Powers, and safeties Yeremiah Bell, Curtis Taylor, and Jonathon Amaya.

Arizona’s Draft: In the first round, the Cards invested in guard Jonathan Cooper from North Carolina with the 7th pick. their 2nd round pick was LB Kevin Minter out of LSU. Another tiger was chosen in the third round, with Tyrann Mathieu looking for a fresh start with the red birds.

San Francisco 49ers: San Francisco traded for QB Colt McCoy. The Niners signed receivers Anquan Boldin, Marlon Moore, and Kassim Osgood, K Phil Dawson, long snapper Kyle Nelson, T Adam Snyder, DE Glenn Dorsey, LB Nathan Stupar, corner Nnamdi Asomugha, and safeties Ray Ventrone and Craig Dahl.

San Francisco’s Draft: Eric Reid, a safety out of LSU, was chosen with the 18th pick. In the second round, Cornelius Carradine, a defensive end out of Florida State and TE Vance McDonald of Rice were selected.

Seattle Seahawks: The rising Seahawks signed QB Brady Quinn, WR Percy Harvin, WR Greg Herd, defensive linemen Ciff Avril, Tony McDaniel, and Michael Bennett, and corners Will Blackmon and Antoine Winfield.

Seattle’s Draft: With a 2nd and 3rd round pick, the Seahawks selected RB Christine Michael of Texas A&M and DT Jordan Hill of Penn St.

St. Louis Rams: The Rams signed tight ends Jared Cook and Zach Potter, T Jake Long, and safety Matt Giordano.

St. Louis’ Draft: Tavon Austin, a receiver out of West Virginia, was selected with the 8th pick. With the Rams’ other 1st round pick, they chose Georgia LB Alec Ogletree in the 30th pick. S Tavon McDonald and another West Virginia receiver in Stedman Bailey were both selected in the third round.
