NFL Quarterbacks on New Teams for the 2018 Football Season

Matt Barkley (Cincinnati Bengals): The former USC star didn't make it onto the field with the Cardinals last season and looks to latch on as a backup with the Bengals in 2018.
Sam Bradford (Arizona Cardinals): He's shown he can be good when healthy, but we'll see how that knee holds up. If it does, the 30-year old could really help this team. Bradford only played in two games last season with the Vikings.
Tyler Bray (Chicago Bears): With one pass attempt since his pro debut in 2014, Bray would be a longshot to make the Bears' team.
Teddy Bridgewater (New York Jets): A gruesome injury derailed what seemed like a promising career with the Vikings. He has thrown two passes in the last two seasons and looks for a rebirth with a Jets team that also now has third overall pick Sam Darnold.
Matt Cassel (Detroit Lions): After two seasons as the Titans' backup QB, the 36-year old looks to catch on with Detroit and back up a quarterback in Matthew Stafford who hasn't missed a start since 2010.
Kirk Cousins (Minnesota Vikings): One of the bigger signings in the offseason for quarterbacks, Cousins, 29, looks to take the Minnesota offense to the next level and inherits an ideal situation for him to thrive and win games.

Chase Daniel (Chicago Bears): After eight seasons in the league, Daniel has started just two games and has three combined passing attempts in the last 3 seasons. Daniel looks to catch on in a suddenly-crowded Bears' QB picture.
Blaine Gabbert (Tennessee Titans): Having seen a lot of action as a backup over the last several seasons with San Francisco and Arizona, Gabbert, 28, looks to contribute to the Titans in 2018.
Mike Glennon (Arizona Cardinals): Glennon, 28, started 4 games for the Bears last season, going 1-3. He joins a Cardinals team and looks to somehow break through with a team that also added rookie Josh Rosen and veteran Sam Bradford.
Robert Griffin, III. (Baltimore Ravens): The former Rookie of the Year is down to his last shot in 2018 after not playing at all in 2017. He joins a Ravens team that has a cemented starter in Flacco and an exciting rookie in Lamar Jackson.
Taylor Heinicke (Carolina Panthers): The second-year undrafted quarterback threw one pass last season for the Texans and looks to earn a backup slot with the Panthers in 2018.
Chad Henne (Kansas City Chiefs): Henne, 32, looks to catch on with the Chiefs after five seasons as the Jaguars' backup. His action has diminished over the years, with a combined two passing attempts in the past two seasons.
Kevin Hogan (Washington Redskins): The former Stanford star didn't have much of a chance to shine in Cleveland, but could have a decent chance to be Alex Smith's backup if he has a good camp.
Case Keenum (Denver Broncos): Denver is banking on Keenum after the 30-year old vet had a breakthrough season last year with the Vikings. Keenum will have a chance to shine in a starting role with the Broncos.
Cody Kessler (Jacksonville Jaguars): The former Trojans standout didn't get much time last season with the Browns after starting 8 games in his rookie season. He now looks to cement himself as Blake Bortles' backup in Jacksonville.
DeShone Kizer (Green Bay Packers): Went 0-15 as a starter in his rookie season with the Browns. The Packers are hoping he can hit his stride in a better situation in Green Bay.
AJ McCarron (Buffalo Bills): The former Alabama star has looked good the times he got in there backing up Dalton in Cincinnati and now will now have a chance to play, with rookie Josh Allen also looking to break through. He should get an opportunity to shine with the Bills in his fifth NFL season.
Matt McGloin (Kansas City Chiefs): The 4-year Raiders backup didn't see the field last season and will now look to backup Mahomes in Kansas City, with Chad Henne also in the mix.
Brock Osweiler (Miami Dolphins): Things haven't gone great since he shined briefly for the Broncos backing up Manning, but he now looks to revive his career with the Dolphins backing up Ryan Tannehill.
Bryce Petty (Miami Dolphins): After two seasons with the Jets, including a 1-6 record as a starter, Petty will compete with Osweiler to be Tannehill's backup.
Tom Savage (New Orleans Saints): The 28-year old didn't exactly shine in seven starts last season filling in for Deshaun Watson, as he now tries to back up Brees in New Orleans, with Taysom Hill and JT Barrett also in the mix at quarterback.
Trevor Siemian (Buffalo Bills): After 24 starts with the Broncos the past two seasons, Siemian comes to the Bills and will try to break through and hope for some luck with a team that features AJ McCarron and rookie Josh Allen at quarterback.
Alex Smith (Washington Redskins): One of the big changes in the league. After a successful 5-year run with the Chiefs, including career-highs in yards and TDs in 2017, Smith looks to take the Redskins' offense to the next level.
Geno Smith (Los Angeles Chargers): After four years with the Jets, followed by a year with the Giants, Smith not comes out west and tries to catch on as the Chargers' backup.
Drew Stanton (Cleveland Browns): In his 9th season, and following 4 years with the Cardinals, Stanton tries to latch on in a crowded Cleveland QB situation. Say what you will, but Stanton has been pretty reliable with an 11-6 record as a starter.
Tyrod Taylor (Cleveland Browns): After having 43 starts with the Bills over the last three seasons, Taylor, 28, give the Browns a dependable option while top pick Baker Mayfield develops.
Brandon Weeden (Houston Texans): Already 34 despite turning pro in 2012, Weeden has not been on the field for 2 seasons. He could, however, catch on with a team he made a start for in 2015.
