Week 3 NFL Lines
Week 3 is upon us in the NFL season. There have been some nutty results coming down the pike. Some results have been difficult to pinpoint, with the league still in a topsy-turvy state, with a lot of teams jockeying for position. There are eight teams that are 2-0. The Patriots have done it without Tom Brady, Baltimore has done it after a bad season, and Houston looks good with a revamped offense. Also at 2-0 are the Broncos, Giants, Eagles, and Vikings. A lot of teams with QB issues are actually doing well.
There are also eight teams that are 0-2 and looking for their first win this week. Those teams include Miami, Buffalo, Cleveland, Indy, Jacksonville, Washington, Chicago, and New Orleans. Which one of these teams will get off the schneid? Sixteen of the 32 teams are 1-1 against the spread, while New England, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Houston, Denver, San Diego, Philadelphia, and Minnesota have covered both of their spreads this season through two weeks.
The landslide is rife with opportunity, as we are forced to constantly reassess our perceptions of teams. In week two, some teams bore little resemblance to the teams they looked like in week one. Through two weeks, a lot can change, as teams can get better or worse. Bad developments won't always stay that way and teams showing promise may or may not end up fulfilling it.
